Dear Olivia,

Yesterday we went to Aunt Jen's and Uncle Cole's house in Vernal. They have an upstairs and a downstairs and I immediately knew we were in trouble! You love stairs, but haven't had enough practice to be good at them. You did really well the first couple hours, then the inevitable happened, you fell down the stairs. And boy did you fall hard! You landed at the bottom on the tile, and you hit your face pretty hard. Your Dad and I both ran up to hold you. Your face was pretty swollen, your mouth was bleeding, and you had a bloody nose! I felt so badly. This is the first time you had been hurt to the point of bleeding up till now! You screamed for a good half an hour before you finally calmed down.

We also went to the park where you tried eating the wood chips. You tried 3 or 4 times! You kept spitting them out, yet you would keep trying to eat them! I kept putting my fingers in your mouth pulling yucky woods chips out! The good news is, while I was doing this, I found out another tooth on the bottom had poked through! You now have 5 teeth finally! I thought you might end up with just four for the rest of your life! ;) You loved the teeter totter at the park. You got so mad when my legs got to tired from squatting! Teeter Totters are a lot of work for the parents! :)

Today we went to the pumpkin patch! I feel bad because I keep calling things your first, but they're not! They just seem like first because the first time you did them, you were just a tiny baby! Now you actually participate in the fun! So it feels brand new again! :) You loved everything! You loved sitting on the tractors, you loved the petting zoo, you loved the little animal train, and the hay rides and of course the corn box! You smiled and laughed at everything! I don't know if it was the tooth popping through or what but you were in an exceptionally good mood! :) I loved watching you have fun! It made the whole experience so much fun! I can't wait till Halloween! I'm so grateful you'll be walking by then! I'm so excited to see you toddling around in your little costume! You're going to be adorable!

Love,
Mom
