The past couple days have been filled to the brim with my favorite sort of activities, Halloween activities! :) October was a busy month for us so we had to push a lot of fun into a couple days! :)
First we went to a Halloween Palooza. Unfortunately this one wasn't very much fun for you! I went with high hopes but it was basically just a bunch of booths with businesses trying to sell you things. And you really had a hard time because they had almost nothing for you to do! Thought you did meet Minnie and Mickey Mouse! Your face was hilarious! You weren't scared, you were more just trying to figure out what the heck was going on! You did give them a high five so that was pretty impressive! The rest of the time you basically sat there in the stroller. But you were in a good mood over all! And this was the first time we got to see you in your full costume! You were adorable! I was a little disappointed when we did the super hero theme! I'm like "I finally have a daughter I want to do something girly!' Luckily we found a superman costume with a tutu! I had a blast watching you walk around in that little tutu! Couldn't stop staring at you! :)
On the 30th we painted pumpkins! That was quite the adventure. I had convinced myself you were old enough to paint. Haha! I may have been fooling myself. You did alright for a second but the minute I turned my back (Dad was suppose to be watching you) you stuck a handful of paint into your mouth. Dad and I immediately scream "NO!" I'm not sure if that's what made you cry or the taste of paint but you lost it. We finally got you calmed down and painting again, then you took another big mouthful of paint! Haha! Again the tears! I think you ate 3 mouthfuls of paint in total! You would think you would of learned the first time, but no. Good thing I buy non-toxic! You pumpkin turned out super cute so it was worth it! :)
We had quite the crew over for dinner! Including us there were about 12 people involved. You enjoyed your dinner and smiled and laughed at everyone at the table! You were sure hamming it up! After dinner we were taking pictures and you just were not having it. I am so frustrated with the lack of a good picture! I know it's a small thing but costumes are expensive and I just want a good picture!
We had a blast on Halloween! You are currently in a phase were you enjoy taking things from one place and putting them somewhere else. So you rocked at trick or treating. You had no fear walking up there and taking the candy then putting it in brother's bag. (We didn't bother carrying around 2 bags!) In fact if they left the candy tray down so someone else could take a piece, you would then take a 2nd piece! You did this every single chance you got. It was so adorable. I felt bad, but because you are so dang cute every single person would laugh and let you take another one! ;)
We had a blast Miss Olivia Beth! :) It was seriously one of my favorite Halloweens in White Family history! :) I can't wait till next one!
Love,
Mom
